Sooo NEWS this month!


Our first day retreat happened!!

What a gorgeous afternoon we had... it was filled with lots of self-care activities, leaving us feeling relaxed, recharged & rebalanced!


Hope those who participated enjoyed the day as much as we did... With a huge thank you to Heather from A Moment of Calm, for her gift of reiki healing, which we all had

the joy of experiencing!... Keep your eyes peeled for another retreat day some time in the new year, we'll definitely be hosting more!

Other news...

We hope you are taking it easy, although we know it's really easy to forget self-care & get caught up in the 'Christmas crazy' we thought it would be nice to share some simple wellness tips for the holiday season! ...Remembering we still need to make sure we find time for ourselves!

A light & fluffy spiritual bedtime read if you're wanting to get more in touch with your own soul and on the path of working towards becoming a better, more enlightened person.

RECIPE OF THE MONTH


All-the-trimmings traybake



We found this tasty recipe on BBC Good Food! Perfect for cosy winter days/nights when you need warmth and comfort with a good bunch of veg!!.. and if you are a Veggie, swap out the pigs in blankets for a meat free alternative.


Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp caramelised onion chutney

1kg small potatoes, halved

4 parsnips, cut into chunks

4 carrots, cut into chunks

200g sprouts, trimmed and halved

2 small red onions, cut into wedges

12 cocktail sausages wrapped in bacon // or use meat-free alternative

2 bay leaves

4 rosemary sprigs (ripped)


Directions

Mix the oil and chutney together and season well

Add all the veggies to a large roasting tray

Pour over the oil and chutney mixture and toss together

Put the tray in the oven for 25 mins at 200C

Take the traybake out of the oven, adding in the sausages//meat-free alternative and herbs Place back in over for 30-35 mins, stirring halfway through (or until the vegetables are soft and the sausages are cooked through)

Dish up & enjoy!

With so much happening already this month, we're letting you know what's in store for January!


We have the lovely Yoana Halbeck hosting

'An introduction to Kundalini'

This workshop is taking place on 15th January, 3-5pm, £15.00pp

Spaces are filling fast, so book to secure your place! (6 spaces remain)

Kundalini yoga is a strong energetic practice, referred to by many as ‘the yoga of awareness’; or ‘the yoga of awakening’. In this workshop Yoana will introduce you to some of the fundamental concepts in kundalini yoga and will facilitate your personal, intimate experiential journey... With breathing techniques, dynamic meditative poses and mantra's, you will renew your system, shedding the unhelpful layers.



Also for those looking for a kick start in January we have the 'Bliss Mind Body Boost' coming...



A 2 week challenge starting 10th January, with the aim to boost the mind & body after the Christmas festivities.

Please note the studio will be closed on the bank holiday days, for those with passes, your expiry dates will be extended.

Last class before Christmas will be 23rd December, for those who need yoga in between Christmas & new year, we will have a daily class on 29th & 30th December, studio will then close again for the new year celebrations.

The timetable will resume as normal from 4th January.
